 2nd term  Narrative composition each learner should be able to describe and put down, at least two lines of any topic given to them e.g A king – A king is a man, who wears a crown and is a ruler of a kingdoml.
 Teachers – Be mindful of Inventive spelling which is likely to occur – Inventive spelling is the words the learner write according to the way it sounds in his/her ears.
 Conventional spellings – this is the Normal spelling – Mark correctly if inventive spelling has been used,mark but do corrections using conventional spelling.
 Phonics – Use picture and guide the learners in saying the vowel to say what the objects are.
