WEEK 1 -3

TOPIC/ CONTENT

IMPORTANCE OF CIVIC EDUCATION

1. Why study Civic Education:

-understand democratic and Civic

rights and responsibilities.

-nurture and sustain democracy.

ACTIVITIES

1.         Leads pupils to recall the meaning of Civic Education.

Discusses the need for Civic Education with pupils.

2.         Leads pupils to identify the specific benefits of having Civic Education.

1.         Listen to teacher’s explanations.

2.         Contribute to discussions.

-acquire skills such as active citizenship, inquiry, cooperation, etc.
