Week 1
Topic: 1. Personal Data
Performance Objectives – Parent/Caregiver: Should be able to:
1. Obtain and keep head and personal data of the child
2. Teach child to know relevant personal data about self, parents etc.
3. Stimulate the child to give information about self a family
Performance Objectives – Child: Should be able to
1. Give clear information about self e.g. name, age, sex.
2. Give information about parental data
3. Information about home/ school Addresses.
Content:
1. Information about child, family.
2. Child Healthy record
3. Child Assessment Record
Activities – Parent/Caregiver:
- Study the healthy record of the child
- Stimulate the child to give information on self and family
- Record personal data of child
- Obtain and record the weight and height of the child.
- Keep the child” Assessment record.
Activities – Child:
1. State his/her name, age, sex, school, home address etc.
2. State names address and occupation of parents
3. Stand on the weighing scale
4. Stand by the height Chart.

Topic: Child Growth/Motor Development
Performance Objectives – Parent/Caregiver: Should be able to:
1. Identify development milestones
2. Observe neuron muscular coordination
3. Demonstrate correct postures to children
4. Stimulate child to participate in physical activities
Performance Objectives – Child: Should be able to:
1. Perform physical activities like jumping playing ball etc.
2. Play with caregivers and other children.
Content:
1. Stages of Development
, 2. Neuromuscular skills e.g. climbing, dancing, jumping
3. Correct postures for sitting, standing, reading etc.
Activities – Parent/Caregiver:
- Observe, monitor and stimulate child at play and at work
- Demonstrate and encourage correct body posture by children.

2. Reaching the ear across the head
3. Balancing acts game
4. Throwing & catching of ball

Performance Objectives – Parent/Caregiver:
Ensure provision and maintenance of facilities/ equipment for child’s interaction with environment.

3. Stimulate child to participate in exercise and other physical activities.
4. Supervise child’s interaction with environment.
Performance Objectives – Child:
1. Interact with people and materials within his/her physical environment
2. Avoid dangerous play in the
Environment.

- School facilities and equipment
- Management of increased mobility
- Physical activities
- Safety in the environment
Activities – Parent/Caregiver:
1. Encourage interaction with people and materials within child’s Environment.
2. Use relevant teaching /learning materials and toys to stimulate child’s physical Development.
3. Provide necessary indoor and outdoor play equipment within safe environment and under supervision
4. Engage child in various exercising activities
5. Discuss with parents if any physical abnormality is observed
