By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:

  1. Mention parts of the body e.g head, mouth, ears, eyes, legs, skin, teeth, etc.
  • Discuss personal hygiene

Note: Pupils need water to wash dirty hands

  2. Note: Pupils need water for good oral hygiene.

  1. Pupils in pairs demonstrate the up and down brushing, circular motion of cleaning the teeth.
  2. Pupils as a class sing songs on oral hygiene e.g. “his is the way I brush my teeth…., etc

  1. Eating vegetables and fruits keeps the doctors away
  2. Cleanliness is next to Godliness
  3. Exercise your body daily
  4. Drink lots of water everyday
  5. Pupils in small groups are engaged in common exercises (Jumping on one leg, jumping with two legs, Hoping, etc)
  6. Observe “a fruit-a-day” in the school’
